Easy hike in Bowie, Maryland, 1.8 miles

This is an easy flat trail hike at Governor Bridge Natural area, part of Patuxent River State Park. Located near Bowie Baysox stadium/ near Rt 50 and rt 301. Parking lot.  Loops around a pond, and may involve muddy areas , so waterproof shoes are best, especially if it rained recently.

No bathrooms.

We will walk at an easy pace, and pause as needed to observe nature.
