We Hike to Heal – Seattle | FREE Women’s Group Hike
We’ll be hiking Margaret’s Way trail in Issaquah. The route is a dirt trail, and includes some steep sections. This is a moderate-to-challenging hike through lush forest. (https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/margarets-way)
Please assess your fitness level for this hike – all are welcome and it will be more enjoyable if you are used to moderately strenuous physical activity. That said, the goal is to enjoy the journey, we are never in a race!
We’ll meet in the parking lot (I’ll be there holding a clipboard!) where we will get to know each other a bit, then begin our hike. At some point during our hike, we’ll pause to sit, meditate and/or journal, and connect with each other.
Time: 10:30am-3:30pm
Location/Directions: Margaret’s Way Trailhead, 190th Ave SE, Issaquah, WA 98027

Difficulty level/Distance: MODERATE/CHALLENGING / about 6.5 miles, with 1,500 ft elevation change
Restroom Facilities: There are public restrooms/port-a-potties in the parking lot.
