We Hike to Heal – Tucker, GA, FREE Women’s Group Hike

We’ll be hiking the Henderson Park Loop trail inTucker, GA which is a 2 mile trail just 17 miles NE of Atlanta. This is an easy hike with beautiful views along a creek and around Lake Erin. We welcome all fitness levels to join us; the goal is to enjoy the journey, we are never in a race.

We will have several planned stops along our hike to take a break to catch our breath, enjoy the view and have some discussions, journaling, and meditation!

Parking: Parking is FREE (we encourage carpooling or public transportation. We will meet at the trail parking lot near the soccer fields.

Difficulty level/Distance: EASY/2.2 miles

Restroom Facilities: Several restrooms available throughout the park

What you will need for this hike:

• Plenty of water to drink! (we recommend at least 1-3 liters)
• Sunblock and/or hat to protect you from the sun
• Comfortable hiking shoes/boots or trail sneakers
• Comfortable moisture wicking clothing – workout clothes work just fine!
• A daypack/backpack to carry all your items
• A towel to sit on if you’re uncomfortable sitting on the ground
• Your journal and a pen
