#WEHIKETOHEAL
We Hike to Heal, Inc is a 501c3 non-profit that provides an alternative pathway to healing for women
About Us
Outdoor Journal Tour was founded by Kenya and Michelle Jackson- Saulters, a married couple based in Atlanta, GA. In the summer of 2015, Kenya had the idea to get a small group of friends together to hike Stone Mountain.
The plan was for the women to climb to the top, talk about life and journal about their goals once they got there. The experience was awesome, but it wasn’t until they opened their eyes after the meditation and noticed that two new faces had joined their group, that Kenya realized this idea was bigger than her.
The women who joined them explained that they had seen Kenya, Michelle and their friends talking, journaling and meditating and wanted to learn more about the “program” because they wanted to participate. Of course at the time, there was no program – but Michelle took down their email addresses and the rest is history.
Eight years later, ODJT has reached thousands of women all across the globe, partnered with dozens of premier Brands, and expanded their organization to include We Hike to Heal, Inc – the nonprofit arm of the organization.
