Listening to Flora & Fauna (easy nature walk)

PamHost Tent

While spending time in nature, the flora and fauna not only talk to each other, but if you listen closely, they speak to you as well. Nature is trying to pass messages, learn how to listen to them.

I am the founder and manager of Southern Queer Folk Hikes in Middle Georgia. When I found how much hiking and spending time in nature helped my mental health, I wanted to pass that on to others, especially those in similar situations - veterans, those with PTSD and other mental health issues, and those that are treatment resistant to medications. The group has become a safe space for those that are underrepresented on the trails and I work with community organizations to break down the barriers to access the outdoors that our BIPOC communities often face. I also love kayaking, swimming, and spending time with my dog and 2 cats while watching Great British Bake Off.
