We Hike to Heal Free Women’s Hike + Journaling and Meditation – Newark
Join us for a Women’s hike series for the long weekend! Each Day a new location and trail.
Time: 10 AM
Friday: Blue Ball Barn – Wilmington DE
Saturday: Middle Run Valley Park – Newark, DE
Sunday: Blackbird State Forest – Smyrna DE
This Saturday We will hike the Snow Goose Loop within Middle Run Valley Park. This is a 2.3 mile trail with an estimate of 1 hour of walking time.
This is a moderate unpaved hike with beautiful views and some hills. We welcome all fitness levels to join us; the goal is to enjoy the journey, we are never in a race!
Once we reach the creek area, we’ll plan to take a break to catch our breath, enjoy the view and do a meditative breathwork session.
Time: 10:00 a.m (please be punctual!)

Parking: On-site parking available at the Church. (no parking fees) (we encourage carpooling!)

Restroom Facilities: There are restrooms within the Church (if open on Saturday!)
What you will need for this hike:
- Plenty of water to drink! (we recommend at least 1-3 liters)
- Hat to stay warm and protect you from the sun
- Comfortable hiking shoes/boots or trail sneakers
- Comfortable moisture wicking clothing – workout clothes work just fine!
- A daypack/backpack to carry all your items
- A towel to sit on if you’re uncomfortable sitting on the ground
- Your journal and a pen
